Green Drinks Santa Cruz

The new season of Green Drinks is starting up again on Sept 2nd from 5:30-7:30pm at the Cypress Lounge

Green Drinks is an informal networking event where environmentally minded people meet over drinks. Started in London in 1989, it has spread to 51 cities in the United Kingdom, 223 in the U.S. and many more. As of May 2009, there are over 525 Green Drink Chapters worldwide.

In the tradition of how most Green Drinks are organized, our event on Sept 2nd will not have a speaker but will be open anyone who wants to meet fellow neighbors interested in their green community. Everyone is encouraged to bring materials and business cards to share. Green Drinkers are welcome to come and go as they please and are encouraged to invite new friends into our green community. 

For the new season we are asking for volunteers and/or event ideas. If you would like to volunteer or have an idea for a future Green Drinks, please contact Caroline Hawkins atcaroline@ecoact.org. 

Appetizers will be provided by Ecology Action

No host bar but happy hour beer and Kombucha is on tap and for sale at Cypress Lounge!
